ASK has organized a 2 day orientation and sensitization meeting for local youth and students in the office of ASK Sondhi Mohinnudinpur. The basic objective of the meeting was to enhance and develop an understanding of society with a rich historical background of the country. Learning from the sharing the experience during the lockdown
The meeting started with an introduction after which they were told to discuss their experience of being connected with ASK also experience of the lockdown as well. after discussion they were not sure about utter sharing, they required some more time to do so. Hence, they were told to write it down from home. Some games were also held by them as

Students and youth (girls and boys) were excited to share their experiences. Jay Surya, Prince Yadav, Vansah, Aditya, Sarnath, Khushi, Gaurav, Rupali, Archana, Suchita, Kushagri, etc. Students shared their experiences with the help of each other. Points shared by them are as follows-
The “Saanjhi Viraasat” program helped us to develop awareness by visiting historical monuments, computer education, etc. visiting without parents, making solo stories from a single word, song-making, art class in lockdown, and so on various programs lead to new creativity in us. we have developed a sense of leadership and raising our voices in various issues. The help programs by ASK such as volunteering at the students fair led to lots of change in us.
Mr. Gufran Ahmed has said, that to make a better career we should idolize one mentor and follow their footstep. Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khan has welcomed them to work as volunteers for ASK. He has given them a task to make a map of their village till next month. The design and way of making were discussed with them. What was added in it and the way of representation such as Temples, Mosque, wells, hospitals, water tanks, schools, old trees, etc. With all these learning meetings were end.

THREE DAYS TRAINING PROGRAM UNDER SAJHI VIRASAT TO PROMOTE PEACE AND DEMOCRACY

Role- In South Asian countries people follow different religions they come from different beliefs. many of the believers are much like an orthodox, they create panic situations and promote violence in the name of religion. This not only disturb the peace of people lots of innocent people lost their lives in riots by these peoples. This situation became a very serious issue for social workers who are working for public welfare To criticize and demolish such a serious issue a meeting was held by ISD New Delhi jointly with ASK. In this context, lots of meetings were held in poorvanchal with the students, women, workers, teachers, and social developers to create awareness against orthodoxy and work with peace by promoting democracy in the country.
The meeting started with the registration and introduction of people with each other and us like, including their names, occupations, addresses, classes, hobbies, future plans, etc.
First session – Firstly trainer introduced the participants to the organization, and they provided them with complete knowledge of ASK and ISD and how these organizations work for social benefit. they were told about their neighboring countries in which they replied Pakistan, Bangladesh, Butan, Nepal, Srilanka, etc.
Moto of Saanjhi Viraasat – The trainer asked them what is Saanjhi Viraasat in their terms, to which they replied that the grants of anything that we get from our forefathers are viraasat. The trainer made them aware that Saanjhi Viraasat is something that is beyond religion, casts, and grades, which is considered by every single person as their own irrespective of any differences is what the Saanjhi Viraasat is. Afterward, five different groups were made to discuss separately and present their understanding in written format. the trainer noticed the following points is as follows –

Finding the different forms of sajhivirasat– with the discussion of different forms of Saanjhi the trainer has also discussed folk song fairs and festivals, etc. All the participants were distributed in 5 groups and were asked to present drama on it. at last, songs were played and the meeting ended.
Second day – the day started with a motivational song .trainer sir briefs the first day of learning and participants were asked about their drama preparation ion which 2 hours were given to them for preparation All groups were showed different aspect with folk songs fairs and festivals in their drama. different roles were performed by them in which the trainer has explained with additional information.
Discussion on exertion and dispute among surroundings- The trainer has asked them to share regarding different experiences they had to face due to such conditions and where they had to experience it they said that in religion, caste, acquaintance, sports, and employment they had to face exertion. after discussion, four groups were made and they were provided questions to discuss in their respective groups and answer them. The questions were as follows –
1. To whom will these fights benefit?
2. How they seek the benefit of it and get at last?
3. Which of the groups have tried to solve these things and cooperate?
4. What kind of action should be taken to solve these disputes?

Every participant answered the question according to their wits however no one gave a proper answer last trainer explained all the questions with their proper answer.
Gender- On discussing gender they asked about authorial rights on dowery, this question was put on the chart and they replied that the rights of selling dowry and all the authority belong to her husband. in the same way, various issues were discussed regarding the ill-treatment of females at home their household work seeks no value and they had to work under the norms of family. in the same way, these all points were put forward on charts, and students were asked to share their views. The wages of the women are nearly 1300 -15000 but they seem to have no value also there is no recognition of their work. If the same work is done by men outside, they get paid for it but for women, it’s equal to none. If the household work is done by men, it is considered shameful for them. the domestic violence faced by women is disputed According to the ill mentality of people if a woman gets rights of her own, she will dominate over others. with all this the second day was end.
THIRD DAY- The day started with the prayer “humko man ki Shakti dena data” then a quick recap of the last two days was done by the trainer.
Negative aspects of Saanjhi Viraasat – The trainer put forward four questions on the chart and discussed them with participants These were,

All the participants were again distributed into four groups they were asked to write down the questions and each participant came forward with different views which are as follows –dowry system, religious customs, considering bad luck if a cat crossed the way or glass got broken, even facing the widows is also considered as bad luck, etc have become part of our society .mostly people discriminate according to religion and caste which is the most burning topic of this time and unfortunately sometimes became part of Saanjhi Viraasat. Nisar Khan added to the discussion that child marriages have been disappearing in some way however it seems to be replaced by a dowry system. Now the parents of a girl child have to pay according to the age of their daughter the more the age and so the payment. afterward, the lunch break was done.
Activity after lunch – after lunch game of lion and hunter was played with the participants. then the trainer again asked them about Saanjhi Viraasat. what is Saanjhi Viraasat and how does it form? Some of the participants answered Then a video of Satyamev Jayte was shown to them, also the discussion on the video of Kamla Bhasin has done. the clip of Prof. Kaushal was shown to them.
